Glenwood Summer Camp Our third year of summer camp has just come to a close, however we are already looking forward to the summer of 2008!! In the summer of 2005, an anonymous donor gave a sum of money to Grace Community Church and asked that it be used to hold a summer camp for teens in the Glenwood neighborhood, and thus the Glenwood Summer Camp was born! The camp was a huge success, and as a result has been built into the Grace Community Church budget. During camp, teens enjoy experiences most of us take for granted...an overnight camping excursion in the mountains, a weekend at the beach, a trip to the waterpark, a few days in the big city -- when they go to these places at camp, it is often a first for them. Students volunteer in the community, participate in team building activities, and complete daily Bible devotionals in their teams. Even during camp, the students are already talking about next year!
**Because we do not ask students to pay for their time at camp, there is always a need for donations. Donations of specific items and/or money (in any amount) is appreciated.
